Job summary

Consor is seeking an Engineering Designer to lead portions of transportation design projects across roadway, multimodal, and intersection design. You will mentor junior designers, apply engineering judgment, and collaborate with project engineers and managers to deliver accurate, efficient design solutions.

You will prepare detailed design plans, perform advanced calculations, and coordinate activities across teams while providing technical guidance.

Qualifications

• BS in Civil Engineering required.
• 2+ years of Texas transportation design experience.
• EIT certification required.
• Experience with MicroStation and OpenRoads Designer.

Responsibilities

• Lead preparation of detailed design plans, specifications, and cost estimates for transportation projects.
• Perform advanced design calculations and ensure compliance with standards.
• Coordinate design activities among multidisciplinary teams and provide guidance to junior staff.
• Assist project engineers with quality control reviews, schedule tracking, and design deliverables.
