Akumin is seeking a Radiology Information Systems (RIS) Team Lead / Manager to lead the engineering and support team responsible for design, configuration, and lifecycle management of enterprise radiology workflows across RIS and PACS platforms.

The role combines people leadership, workflow architecture, and systems integration to align scheduling, order intake, prior authorization, exam execution, radiologist reporting, and billing workflows with clinical and financial objectives.

Competenze

• Bachelor’s degree in healthcare informatics, computer science, information technology, healthcare administration, or equivalent practical experience.
• 7+ years of progressive experience in healthcare clinical applications, with dedicated expertise in RIS and PACS ecosystems.
• 2+ years of demonstrated experience in a team lead, supervisory, or technical project management capacity.

Mansioni

• Lead, mentor, and foster continuous growth across a high-performing team of RIS analysts and clinical systems specialists.
• Manage team capacity across break-fix support, workflow optimization, enterprise projects, and major system rollouts.
• Establish SOPs and change management standards for enterprise RIS configuration.
• Act as liaison between clinical operations, IT/interoperability teams, RCM leadership, and core software vendors.
• Drive end-to-end RIS workflow standardization across multi-site imaging centers.
• Govern architecture and maintenance of CPT/HCPCS catalogs, modality protocols, and scheduling rules to optimize throughput and billing.
• Identify bottlenecks and implement data-driven interventions to maximize modality utilization.
