Job summary

Akumin is seeking a Radiology Information Systems (RIS) Team Lead / Manager to lead the engineering and support team responsible for design, configuration, optimization, and lifecycle management of enterprise radiology workflows across RIS and PACS platforms.

This role combines people leadership, workflow architecture, and systems integration, guiding RIS analysts, workflow specialists, and integration engineers while aligning scheduling, order intake, exam execution, reporting, and billing with

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent practical experience.
• 7+ years of progressive experience in healthcare clinical applications, with RIS and PACS expertise.
• 2+ years in a team lead, supervisory, or technical project management role.

Responsibilities

• Lead RIS team, mentor analysts, and set objectives.
• Oversee RIS workflow design, standardization, and optimization.
• Govern interoperability across HL7, DICOM, and FHIR.
• Manage enterprise RIS migrations, deployments, and project delivery from conception to stabilization.
• Monitor KPIs and drive continuous quality improvements.
