Job summary

Akumin is seeking a Radiology Information Systems (RIS) Team Lead / Manager to lead the engineering and support team responsible for the design, configuration, and lifecycle management of enterprise radiology workflows across RIS and PACS platforms.

You will supervise RIS analysts, workflow specialists, and integration engineers, coordinating with clinical operations, radiology groups, and revenue cycle leadership to standardize and optimize scheduling, order intake, and billing workflows across

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Healthcare Informatics, Computer Science, Information Technology, Healthcare Administration, or equivalent practical experience.
• 7+ years of progressive experience in healthcare clinical applications with RIS/PACS expertise.
• 2+ years of leadership experience in team lead or project management roles.

Responsibilities

• Lead RIS analysts and clinical systems specialists; mentor and develop the team.
• Design, implement, and optimize enterprise radiology workflows across RIS and PACS.
• Coordinate interoperability across HL7, DICOM, and FHIR with IT and clinical stakeholders.
• Oversee migrations, upgrades, and deployments from scoping to hypercare.
