Motorola Solutions is seeking a Business Development Engineer for the USSOCOM market to bridge RF capabilities with customer requirements. You will work with engineering and business development to demonstrate interoperability and field-readiness of StreamCaster radios across domains.

The role requires up to 50% travel to customer sites and labs, with a 100% remote option depending on location. A background in C5ISR and security clearance is essential, along with strong communication skills.

Competenze

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical/Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or related C5ISR field with 2–5 years in systems engineering or defense tech; OR HS diploma with 5+ years relevant experience.
• Exposure to Software-Defined Radios (SDRs), IP routing, or tactical comms.
• Familiarity with RF test equipment such as spectrum analyzers and signal generators.
• Active U.S. Government SECRET clearance or ability to obtain within 15 months.
• U.S. citizenship required; background check and drug test required.

• Analyze USSOCOM capability gaps and SOF comms requirements; map needs to radio solutions.
• Plan networks, configure field trials, and support live evaluations.
• Collaborate with Engineering and Business Development to validate architectures.
• Align with Business Development on technical needs and strategic priorities.
• Prepare technical demos for low-signature, resilient, tactical edge ops.
• Contribute to RFI/RFP responses and test end-to-end architectures.
• Engage with USSOCOM stakeholders and component commands for feedback.
• Travel up to 50% to customer sites and labs.
• Support test automation and data benchmarking.
