Motorola Solutions seeks a Business Development Engineer to bridge RF capabilities with USSOCOM requirements. You’ll work with Engineering and Business Development to demonstrate interoperability, low-signature performance, and field-readiness of StreamCaster radios across multi-domain and tactical edge environments.

You will travel up to 50% to customer sites and labs, with a remote option depending on location.

Competenze

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Network Engineering, or a related C5ISR field with 2-5 years of demonstrated experience in systems engineering, technical business development, or defense technology roles; OR High School Diploma/GED with 5+ years of relevant technical or defense experience.
• Exposure to or working knowledge of Software-Defined Radios (SDRs), IP-based routing protocols, or tactical communication systems.
• Basic familiarity with RF test equipment such as spectrum analyzers and signal generators.
• Security Clearance: Active U.S. Government SECRET clearance or the ability to obtain one within 15 months of hire.
• Must be a U.S. Citizen due to clients under U.S. government contracts.
• All employment is contingent upon the successful clearance of a background check and drug test.

Mansioni

• Analyze USSOCOM capability gaps andSOF-peculiar communications requirements, mapping operational needs to tactical radio solutions.
• Plan network configurations and oversee live field trials, modernizations, and user evaluations.
• Collaborate with Applications Engineering to leverage testing data and benchmarking to verify architectures.
• Support Business Development with technical needs and align work with strategic priorities.
• Develop technical demonstrations tailored to low-signature, resilient, and tactical edge needs of USSOCOM and components.
• Contribute to RFI/RFP responses and test end-to-end network architectures.
• Travel to customer sites, labs, and field-test environments as required.
