Job summary

SGA Dental Partners is seeking a Revenue Cycle Analyst to support reporting, analytics, and data integrity across the revenue cycle function. You will partner with Revenue Cycle leadership and the Business Intelligence team to deliver accurate, consistent, and actionable reporting across PMS and other data sources.

The role involves extracting data from PMS, validating outputs, and developing standardized performance metrics to enable data-driven decisions.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of data analysis, reporting, or revenue cycle analytics in healthcare.
• Experience with PMS systems such as Denticon, Dentrix, Eaglesoft, and Open Dental is preferred.
• Strong Excel skills (PivotTables, lookups, data manipulation).
• Ability to translate data into actionable insights for leadership.
• Excellent written and verbal communication with attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Extracts data from practice management systems to support reporting needs.
• Pulls ad hoc and recurring reports for Revenue Cycle leadership, Finance, and Operations.
• Defines KPI requirements and performance tracking methodologies with leadership.
• Supports dashboard design and refinement with Power BI and analytics teams.
• Validates reports against source data to ensure accuracy and consistency.
• Identifies data discrepancies and collaborates cross-functionally to resolve issues.
• Suggests enhancements to improve visibility into revenue cycle performance.
• Documents reporting logic, data sources, and metric definitions.
• Monitors data quality and integrity across systems and supports analyses of performance trends.
