Job summary

SGA Dental Partners is seeking a Revenue Cycle Analyst to support reporting, analytics, and data integrity across the revenue cycle. This role partners with Revenue Cycle leadership and the Business Intelligence team to ensure accurate, actionable reporting from practice management systems.

You will extract data from PMS, validate outputs, define KPI requirements, and help standardize metrics. The role involves building dashboards with Power BI and leveraging advanced Excel skills, with

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in data analysis, reporting, revenue cycle operations, or related healthcare analytics roles.
• Strong understanding of revenue cycle workflows and key performance metrics.
• Experience with practice management systems such as Denticon, Dentrix, Eaglesoft, and/or Open Dental.
• Experience with Power BI or similar BI tools.
• Advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, lookups, data manipulation).
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Extracts and compiles data from practice management systems to support operational and leadership reporting needs.
• Pulls ad hoc and recurring manual reports from PMS systems to support leadership, Finance, and Operations.
• Partners with leadership to define reporting needs, KPI requirements, and performance tracking methodologies.
• Designs, develops, and refines dashboards and reporting outputs with Power BI.
• Validates Power BI reports against source data to ensure accuracy and consistency.
• Identifies gaps in reporting and proposes enhancements to improve visibility into revenue cycle performance.
• Maintains documentation related to reporting logic, data sources, and metric definitions.
