• Analytical skills and judgment with at least one year’s medical setting exposure.
• Understanding of medical terminology and workers’ compensation regulations.
• Proficient data entry and general office equipment skills.
• Effective written and verbal communication.

Aufgaben

• Reviews injury/medical reports and formulates a plan to expedite RTW full duty.
• Determines type of injury and work status.
• Coordinates to transfer cases when appropriate to RN Case Manager for medical management.
• Contacts offices to verify information and educate regarding transitional duty programs.
• Maintains accurate, timely, and professional record entries.
• Establishes cooperative relationships with team members, clients, providers and adjusters.
• Updates management screens for accurate customer reporting.
