Job summary

Genex Service LLC in Bakersfield, CA is seeking a Medical Field Case Manager (RN) to support workers' compensation and auto injury cases. This full-time, hybrid role requires local travel for in-person appointments and collaboration with treating physicians, employers, and patients to plan cost-effective recovery and safe work return.

Applicants should have an RN license in good standing and 2+ years of clinical practice; URAC-certified case management credentials are preferred.

Qualifications

• Associates or Bachelor's in Nursing or related field.
• 2+ years clinical practice preferred; workers' compensation experience preferred.
• Active RN license in good standing; URAC-recognized CCM/CDMS/CRC/CRRN/COHN family certifications may be required.
• Must have reliable transportation and travel for in-person appointments.
• Proficient with Excel, Word, and Outlook; strong written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Apply case management standards of practice in patient care.
• Advise on treatment plans using injury knowledge and job duties.
• Interview injured workers to assess recovery and occupational status.
• Collaborate with physicians/providers and resources to tailor treatment plans.
• Coordinate with employers and physicians to modify job duties for early return to work.
• Manage workload and prepare status updates for customers.
