Job summary

Munters is seeking a Retrofit Sales Manager to lead Southeast service sales for retrofit installations, refurbishment, and modernization. You will coordinate with engineering and service teams to prepare quotes and proposals, driving growth of the service business from a remote home base.

The role requires minimal travel (1–2 trips per quarter, 3–5 days each) and involves building regional customer relationships, forecasting orders, and maintaining margins on projects.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of project management in capital equipment.
• Experience with HVAC components and systems.
• Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication.
• Leadership to manage projects effectively.
• Bachelor's degree in engineering or equivalent.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
• Working knowledge of CRM programs.

Responsibilities

• Cover the Southeast region (FL, GA, AL, MS, LA, TX) and reside there.
• Build relationships with key customer contacts.
• Identify installation base for RFE projects.
• Coordinate with Engineering and Applications teams on RFE viability.
• Prepare RFE estimates and proposals.
• Present to customers and sales channels.
• Meet cost and schedule goals for projects.
• Travel as needed to meet schedules.
• Conduct field surveys for refurbishment and modernization.
• Generate leads and follow up on service proposals.
• Negotiate terms and close orders.
• Ensure price and margins are acceptable.
• Provide monthly reports to Regional Service Manager.
• Forecast orders and sales monthly, quarterly, and annually.
• Handle other requests from management.
