Job summary

Empower is hiring for a contact center role supporting retirement plans. You will start with our paid associate training program and receive ongoing coaching as you grow your financial services career.

You will work with a team to deliver excellent service, educate customers without cold calls, and manage contributions, loans, and account changes. You will work a 40-hour week with occasional Saturday shifts and must be fluent in English and Spanish.

Qualifications

• Two specific requirements: a college degree or equivalent and customer service experience, including but not limited to food service, retail, hospitality, teaching, military, or banking.

Responsibilities

• Answer incoming telephone inquiries about retirement plans from participants, employers, and third-party plan specialists.
• Provide excellent call center service for retirement savings accounts.
• Educate customers without cold calling or sales.
• Communicate critical plan updates and changes.
• Process contributions, loans, withdrawals, and general account changes.
