Job summary

Guidant Financial is seeking a Retirement Plan Operations Specialist to learn the end‑to‑end process of administering, testing and reporting on 401(k) plans. Through intensive training and hands‑on practice, you will move from document review to basic plan administration and year‑end filings, including the 5500.

You will interact with clients, obtain required information, ensure accuracy, and use our software to complete testing and reporting.

Qualifications

• Experience with document review and transaction processing.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools (Excel/Word/Outlook).
• Degree in business/finance preferred or equivalent work experience.

Responsibilities

• Work with clients to obtain information for annual reporting.
• Review documents for completeness and accuracy.
• Prepare 401(k) filings including IRS Form 5500.
• Educate clients on plan administration and reporting.
