Job summary

Mondelez International is seeking a Retail Territory Manager to lead in-store execution and drive sales growth across assigned California accounts. You will manage a team of merchandisers, implement HQ programs, and tailor data-driven strategies to local store demographics.

You will build strong relationships with store teams, optimize shelf presence, and ensure compliant operations while meeting monthly targets in a remote-capable role with regional travel.

Qualifications

• Be at least 18 years of age and have a valid driver’s license.
• High School Diploma or GED required; college degree highly preferred.
• Flexible work schedule including weekends and holidays.
• 3–5 years of selling experience with strong business process understanding.
• Physical requirements: lift up to 25 lbs., occasional up to 50 lbs., push/pull.
• Drug test, MVR check and background check required.
• Company vehicle with gas card and maintenance program included.

Responsibilities

• Hit monthly and quarterly sales targets by unlocking growth across accounts.
• Lead a team of merchandisers from hiring to performance development.
• Ensure flawless rollout of sales priorities and merchandising programs.
• Provide on-site sales consultation to customers and HQ programs.
• Tailor data-driven sales strategies to store demographics and needs.
• Cultivate strong partnerships with store personnel for opportunities.
• Deploy merchandisers and order writers to maximize shelf impact.
• Oversee product ordering, display execution, and unsaleables management.
• Design and execute a smart store schedule to strengthen relationships.
• Operate within Mondelēz safety and operational guidelines.
