Job summary

Mondelez International is seeking a Remote Retail Territory Manager to drive DSD execution and energize assigned California stores. You will build relationships with retailers, optimize displays, and ensure flawless rollout of sales priorities across your territory.

You will lead a team of merchandisers, plan growth strategies, and collaborate with store personnel to deliver top-tier service while maintaining safety and compliance standards.

Qualifications

• Be at least 18 years of age with valid driver's license.
• High School Diploma or GED required, college degree highly preferred.
• Flexible work schedule including weekends and holidays.
• 3-5 years of selling experience with strong sales background and understanding of business processes.
• Ability to perform physical activities (lifting, carrying up to 25 lbs., occasionally over 50 lbs.).
• Successful completion of drug test, MVR check, and background check.
• Company vehicle with gas card and vehicle maintenance program offered by Mondelez.

Responsibilities

• Hit the Numbers: Deliver monthly and quarterly sales targets by unlocking growth across assigned accounts using retail selling methodologies and plans.
• Lead with Impact: Manage and coach a team of Merchandisers (full-time and part-time).
• Drive Execution Excellence: Ensure flawless rollout of sales priorities and merchandising programs in-store.
• Consult & Sell: Provide on-site sales consultation to customers and secure incremental opportunities.
• Plan for Growth: Tailor data-driven sales strategies to store demographics and customer needs.
• Build Relationships: Cultivate partnerships with store personnel to identify opportunities and deliver top-tier service.
• Optimize Resources: Strategically deploy merchandisers and order writers to maximize shelf impact and sales.
• Champion Store Success: Oversee product ordering, display execution, and unsaleables management with FTOWs.
• Own the Cadence: Design and execute a smart store schedule to strengthen relationships and drive results.
• Stay Safe & Compliant: Adhere to Mondelēz safety and operational guidelines.
