Job summary

Nationwide seeks a Relationship Manager to oversee strategic account management for private sector retirement plans. You will coordinate with plan sponsors, advisor/consultants, TPAs and providers, develop tailored business plans, and ensure smooth onboarding and ongoing client servicing.

The role demands deep knowledge of the retirement plan market, ERISA, and plan investments, with extensive travel within an assigned territory and a focus on retention and growth of mid-size plans.

Qualifications

• Five years in the financial services industry, with at least three years focused on retirement plans.
• Experience managing relationships with plan sponsors and advisor/consultants of retirement plans.
• Understanding of ERISA, qualified plan design, recordkeeping, administration and plan investments.

Responsibilities

• Lead strategic account management for defined client list including plan sponsors, advisor/consultants, TPAs and service providers.
• Develop and execute strategic business plans aligned with Nationwide objectives.
• Onboard clients and familiarize sponsors with Nationwide tools and services, coordinating with implementation teams.
• Drive participant engagement and retirement readiness through servicing strategies with sponsors.
• Represent the client voice in product and service development and enhancements.
