Job summary

Nationwide is seeking a Relationship Manager for Retirement Solutions to manage strategic accounts and drive profitability across small plans. The role covers a defined client list, engaging plan sponsors, advisors, and TPAs, with a focus on expanding relationships and service adoption.

They will lead onboarding, collaborate with implementation teams, and coordinate resources to deliver client value while traveling extensively within the territory.

Qualifications

• Undergraduate studies in business or finance or related fields preferred.
• FINRA 6, 63, 65 (or 7/66) required; licenses/registrations must be obtained within designated time.
• Five years in financial services with at least three years in retirement plans.
• Knowledge of ERISA, 401k/403b markets, recordkeeping and plan investments.

Responsibilities

• Establish, grow and retain profitable relationships with small-sized plan sponsors, advisors, TPAs and other service providers.
• Lead the integrated service team by coordinating home office support and resources.
• Develop and execute a strategic business plan for each client.
• Support small plan sales acquisition by positioning Nationwide services.
