Job summary

Nationwide is seeking a Relationship Manager for Retirement Solutions to oversee a portfolio of small retirement plans with assets typically in the $5–10M range. You will lead a cross-functional team, develop strategic plans, and partner with sponsors, advisors and TPAs to grow and retain relationships.

The role requires deep knowledge of retirement plans, ERISA, and plan implementation, with up to 75% travel and a home-office work setup. Exempt, full-time position nationwide.

Qualifications

• Five years in financial services with focus on retirement plans.
• Experience managing relationships with plan sponsors and advisors.
• Understanding of ERISA, plan design, recordkeeping and investments.

Responsibilities

• Manage strategic accounts for defined retirement plans including sponsors, advisors and TPAs.
• Lead integrated service teams to grow and retain key relationships.
• Develop and execute strategic business plans aligned with Nationwide capabilities.
• Onboard clients smoothly and drive participant engagement and retirement readiness.
• Represent client needs in product and service development.
