Job summary

Nationwide is seeking a Relationship Manager to oversee strategic account management for a defined list of retirement plans, focusing on plan profitability and client satisfaction. The role involves coordinating with advisors, TPAs and service providers to deepen client relationships and expand Nationwide offerings.

You will manage small plans with assets in the $5–10M range, drive plan efficiency, onboard clients, and partner with implementation to ensure smooth transitions.

Qualifications

• Bachelors in business/finance or related field preferred.
• FINRA 6, 63, 65 required (or 7/66) and licenses/registrations to be obtained within designated time.
• Five years in financial services with at least three years in retirement plans.

Responsibilities

• Establish, grow and retain profitable relationships with plan sponsors, advisors/consultants, TPAs and other service providers.
• Coordinate home office support and resources to grow key relationships.
• Develop and execute strategic business plans for each client.
• Support small plan sales through presented service model benefits.
• Lead client onboarding with Nationwide tools and implementation team.
