Job summary

Nationwide is seeking a Relationship Manager for Retirement Solutions to cultivate and manage strategic relationships with small plan sponsors, advisors, and TPAs across the Southeast and Carolinas. You’ll lead an account team, develop strategic plans, and drive profitability while promoting Nationwide services.

You will travel extensively (up to 75%), work from a home office, and collaborate with internal partners to implement client programs.

Qualifications

• Five years in the financial services industry with at least three years focused on retirement plans.
• Experience managing relationships with plan sponsors and advisor/consultants of retirement plans.
• Understanding of ERISA, qualified plan design, recordkeeping and plan investments.

Responsibilities

• Establish, grow and retain profitable relationships with plan sponsors, advisor/consultants, TPAs and other service providers.
• Lead the integrated service team by coordinating home office support functions and resources.
• Develops and executes a strategic business plan for each client aligned with Nationwide goals.
• Support small plan sales through positioning Nationwide services to sponsors and participants.
• Lead client onboarding and ensure a smooth transition with implementation teams.
• Drive plan efficiency and participant engagement through service strategies.
