Job summary

Nationwide is seeking a Relationship Manager for Retirement Solutions in the Southeast and Carolinas. You will manage small- to mid-size retirement plans, lead an integrated service team, and grow relationships with plan sponsors, advisor/consultants, and TPAs.

Travel up to 75% from a home office is expected, with a focus on onboarding, participant servicing, and client retention. The role requires 5+ years in financial services (3+ years in retirement plans), ERISA knowledge, and strong

Qualifications

• Five years in the financial services industry, with at least three years focused on retirement plans.
• Experience managing relationships with plan sponsors and advisor/consultants of retirement plans.
• Understanding of the retirement plan business and 401k and 403b markets.
• Working knowledge of ERISA, qualified plan design, recordkeeping, administration and plan investments and account implementation.
• Knowledge of federal and state regulatory requirements and quality standards.

Responsibilities

• Lead strategic account management for a defined list of plan sponsors, advisor/consultants, TPAs and other service providers.
• Develop and execute a strategic business plan for each client aligned with Nationwide capabilities.
• Onboard clients and partner with implementation to ensure a smooth process.
• Develop and implement plan participant servicing strategies to drive engagement and retirement readiness.
• Represent the client voice in product and service development and enhancements.
