Job summary

Health & Human Services Commission (HHSC) in Austin seeks a Reimbursement Analyst I to join the Long-Term Services and Supports division. The role analyzes reimbursement rates, develops rate-setting methodologies, and prepares cost surveys and reports under supervision.

Telework is eligible with in-office presence twice weekly. Eligibility includes a bachelor’s degree (master’s preferred) and strong Excel/word processing skills, with duties spanning policy, financial analysis, and executive

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited four-year college or university is required.
• Master's degree preferred or substituted experience may be considered.

Responsibilities

• Participates in policy and financial analysis to determine and evaluate payment rates for Non-Medicaid programs, including DFPS and TJJD.
• Designs and studies cost surveys and analyses to evaluate rate structure options and regulatory impact.
• Prepares memoranda, reports, and summaries for Executives and Stakeholders.
