Job summary

Texas Health and Human Services in Austin, TX is seeking an entry-level Reimbursement Analyst I to support the Non-Medicaid and DFPS Rates team. You will perform rate analyses, contribute to rate-setting methodologies, and assist with policy development and reporting under supervision.

You'll work on cost surveys, prepare documentation for leadership, and help automate processes to ensure compliant, accurate payment calculations within a dynamic regulatory environment.

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited four-year college or university is required; master's preferred.
• Major coursework in accounting, business administration, finance, economics, statistics, or related field is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement policy and financial analyses to determine and evaluate rate payments.
• Design cost surveys and studies to analyze rate structures and new regulations.
• Prepare memoranda, reports, and legislative outputs for leadership.
• Improve department processes and automate rate calculations.
