Job summary

Texas Health and Human Services (HHSC) seeks a Reimbursement Analyst I to support the Rate Research and Implementation Team within LTSS. You will perform entry-level rate analyses, develop policy and financial analyses, and prepare reports on payment rates and rate setting methodologies under supervision.

Telework may be available; in-office presence is currently two days per week. The role requires collaboration with a cross-functional team and adherence to state rules and federal approvals.

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited four-year college or university required.
• Major coursework in accounting, business administration, finance, economics, statistics, or a related field preferred.

Responsibilities

• Participates in policy and financial analysis to determine and evaluate payment rates.
• Conducts cost surveys and keeps rate methodologies and calculations updated.
• Prepares memorandums and documents for leadership and regulatory approvals.
• Supports continuous improvement of department processes and standard forms.
