Job summary

Texas Health and Human Services Commission (HHSC) in Austin, TX is seeking a Reimbursement Analyst III to advance non-Medicaid rate setting and policy analysis. You will develop and implement rate methodologies, prepare analyses, and present findings to senior leadership while working with the DFPS and TJJD partnerships.

The role requires Graduation from a four-year college, strong financial analysis skills, and the ability to communicate complex concepts to diverse audiences.

Qualifications

• Graduation from a four-year college or university required.
• Experience in financial analysis and rate setting preferred.
• Ability to communicate findings to diverse audiences.
• Telework may be available; in-office presence required two days weekly.

Responsibilities

• Supports development and implementation of policy and financial analysis to determine and evaluate payment rates for various non-Medicaid programs and services.
• Develops, implements, and maintains rate methodologies and rate calculations; prepares ad hoc analyses and fiscal estimates.
• Prepares memoranda and white papers for Executive Leadership and drafts policy documents related to rate setting.
• Serves as SME for Non-Medicaid reimbursement methodologies; interfaces with internal and external stakeholders to provide guidance on rates.
• Contributes to continuous improvement of department processes; creates and updates policies and procedures for documenting internal processes.
