The position focuses on managing customer relationships, supporting existing business, and identifying opportunities for growth within an established territory.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related technical field.
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
• Interest in sales, account management, or business development.
• Ability to manage customer relationships and identify growth opportunities.
• Comfortable with 50-75% travel to customer sites.
• Ability to work independently within a large geographic territory.

Responsibilities

• Manage a national territory in partnership with another salesperson.
• Maintain and grow relationships with existing customers, with roughly 85% of the role focused on repeat business and account management.
• Oversee contracts, pricing, customer orders, and shipment activity to ensure smooth delivery.
• Develop monthly shipment forecasts and track actual performance against projections.
• Act as the primary point of contact for customer questions, service concerns, and issue resolution.
• Coordinate with technical service and operations teams to address quality, delivery, and payment-related matters.
• Regularly travel to sites and customer locations to strengthen relationships and support ongoing business.
• Dedicate approximately 10-15% of the role to business growth, including identifying new customers, expansion opportunities, and prospective accounts.
