Job summary

Advanced Energy is expanding its sales leadership with a Regional Sales Manager to drive revenue across a multi-state region. The role leads direct and channel sales, collaborates with OEMs and key accounts, and guides manufacturers’ representatives and distribution partners to achieve regional growth, acting as the territory's primary business leader.

You will build strategic territory plans, forecast opportunities in Salesforce, and develop strong face-to-face customer engagements.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years of technical sales or technical account management experience.
• Proven experience selling into industrial and medical markets.
• Established relationships within the target customer and channel base.
• Experience managing manufacturers’ representatives and distribution partners with growth.
• Strong business acumen to evaluate and prioritize sales opportunities.
• Ability to lead cross-functional teams to deliver differentiated solutions.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills across all levels.
• Demonstrated drive, competitiveness, and commitment to continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

• Drive revenue growth within the assigned region.
• Develop and execute strategic territory and account plans to increase visits, opportunities, and design wins.
• Prospect, qualify, and advance new and existing sales opportunities; forecast in Salesforce.
• Build differentiated, value-based relationships with customers through regular face-to-face engagement.
• Collaborate with customers and FAEs to identify new product requirements and growth opportunities.
• Lead and manage manufacturers’ representatives and distribution partners with goal setting and reviews.
• Manage distribution partners through joint sales calls, demand generation, and product training.
• Provide initial commercial and technical support for accounts and coordinate escalations.
• Build and lead cross-functional teams to improve customer satisfaction and grow share of account.
• Travel as required to support customers, partners, and regional objectives.
