Job summary

Grundfos Newterra is seeking a Regional Sales Manager, Wastewater to drive regional growth for municipal wastewater aeration solutions across the United States. You will coach Manufacturer's Representatives, cultivate relationships with municipal utilities, engineers, and contractors, and lead projects from development through to purchase orders.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Environmental Engineering or equivalent.
• Minimum 5 years of sales experience in a similar industry with a proven track record.
• Strong technical knowledge of municipal wastewater treatment processes, including mechanical aeration, SBR, oxidation ditch and lagoon systems.
• Knowledge of municipal wastewater regulations and permitting processes

Responsibilities

• Manage, coach, and develop Manufacturer's Representatives to achieve annual sales and order quotas, including recruiting, training, and performance monitoring.
• Drive new business through prospecting, customer visits, and relationship management with municipal utilities, consulting engineers, and contractors.
• Lead sales opportunities from early project development through specification, bidding, negotiation, and fully executed purchase orders.
• Provide technical and consultative guidance on Newterra's mechanical aeration systems for SBR, oxidation ditch, and lagoon applications.
• Develop regional sales plans, forecast pipeline performance, identify market trends, and pursue new market opportunities.
• Serve as the primary liaison between customers, representatives, and internal teams to ensure project requirements are understood and met.
