Job summary

Grundfos Water Treatment USA is seeking a Regional Sales Manager, Wastewater to lead regional sales for municipal wastewater aeration solutions. You will coach Manufacturer's Representatives, build relationships with utilities, engineers and contractors, and drive opportunities from development through purchase orders.

The role requires a mechanical or environmental engineering background, 5+ years of relevant sales experience, and deep knowledge of SBR, oxidation ditch and lagoon systems.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree, preferably in Mechanical or Environmental Engineering or equivalent experience.
• Minimum 5 years of sales experience in a similar industry with proven results.
• Strong technical knowledge of municipal wastewater treatment processes, including mechanical aeration, SBR, oxidation ditch, and lagoon systems.

Responsibilities

• Manage, coach, and develop Manufacturer's Representatives to achieve annual sales and order quotas, including recruiting, training, and performance monitoring.
• Drive new business through prospecting, customer visits, and relationship management with municipal utilities, consulting engineers, and contractors.
• Lead sales opportunities from early project development through specification, bidding, negotiation, and fully executed purchase orders.
• Provide technical and consultative guidance on Newterra's mechanical aeration systems for SBR, oxidation ditch, and lagoon applications.
• Develop regional sales plans, forecast pipeline performance, identify market trends, and pursue new market opportunities.
• Serve as the primary liaison between customers, representatives, and internal teams to ensure project requirements are understood and met.
