Job summary

Grundfos is seeking a Regional Sales Manager, Wastewater, to drive regional growth for Newterra’s aeration products across municipal wastewater applications in the United States. You will lead and develop a Manufacturer's Representative network and build relationships with municipal utilities, engineers, and contractors.

The role emphasizes technical guidance on mechanical aeration systems (SBR, oxidation ditch, lagoon) and strategic planning, with travel up to 30%.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree, preferably in Mechanical or Environmental Engineering or equivalent experience.
• Minimum 5 years of sales experience in a similar industry with a proven track record of achieving results.
• Strong technical knowledge of municipal wastewater treatment processes, including mechanical aeration, SBR, oxidation ditch, and lagoon systems.

Responsibilities

• Manage, coach, and develop Manufacturer's Representatives to achieve annual sales and order quotas, including recruiting, training, and performance monitoring.
• Drive new business through prospecting, customer visits, and relationship management with municipal utilities, consulting engineers, and contractors.
• Lead sales opportunities from early project development through specification, bidding, negotiation, and fully executed purchase orders.
• Provide technical and consultative guidance on Newterra's mechanical aeration systems for SBR, oxidation ditch, and lagoon applications.
• Develop regional sales plans, forecast pipeline performance, identify market trends, and pursue new market opportunities.
• Serve as the primary liaison between customers, representatives, and internal teams to ensure project requirements are understood and met.
