Job summary

Sumitomo Pharma America is seeking a Manager, Regional Sales – Specialty to lead a field-based team of 8-10 Territory Sales Managers within a defined Region. You will drive regional sales strategies, coach teams, and ensure compliant operation across the region.

The role demands strategic leadership, collaboration with Market Access, Marketing, Operations, HR and Training, and 60-80% overnight travel in a fast-paced, growth-focused environment.

Qualifications

• BA or BS degree required.
• 4 years of pharmaceutical sales management experience preferred.
• Proven top-quartile sales performance required.
• 3+ years of Urology experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Achieve/exceed sales budgets and regional objectives across territories.
• Lead with Catalyst Leadership, coach teams, and foster accountability.
• Provide regular coaching to enhance sales effectiveness and development.
• Analyze region product/competitor trends; develop regional strategies.
• Collaborate across SMPA teams to align plans and ensure compliance.
