Sumitomo Pharma America (SMPA) is seeking a Manager, Regional Sales – Specialty to lead a field-based team of 8–10 Territory Sales Managers across a defined U.S. Region. The role emphasizes Catalyst Leadership, coaching, compliance, and data-driven strategies to accelerate brand growth.

You will drive regional sales, manage budgets, and collaborate across departments to maximize performance while ensuring patient access and outcomes in oncology, urology, women's health, and CNS areas.

Qualifications

• BA/BS degree required.
• 4 years’ experience in pharmaceutical sales management (first-line leader with direct people accountability) preferred.
• Proven top-quartile pharmaceutical performance (top 25% of the nation) required.
• 3+ years of Urology experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Meet or exceed regional sales budgets and objectives across territories.
• Lead and coach a field-based sales team of 8–10 Territory Sales Managers.
• Develop regional sales strategies and align budgets and resources to growth opportunities.
• Foster collaboration across Market Access, Marketing, Operations, HR, Training, Compliance, and Medical Science Liaison teams.
• Build and maintain relationships with providers and key thought leaders.
• Ensure compliant, effective operations and achievement of performance targets.
