Sumitomo Pharma America, Inc. is seeking a dynamic Manager, Regional Sales – Specialty to lead a field-based team across a defined Region. You will coach 8-10 Territory Sales Managers, drive regional revenue, and ensure compliant, high-performing execution.

Candidates should have a BA/BS and 4+ years in pharma sales management, with 3+ years in Urology preferred. Expect 60–80% travel; base salary range $149,600–$187,000 plus benefits, with merit opportunities.

Qualifications

• A B.A. or B.S. degree from an accredited college or university is required.
• 4 years’ experience in pharmaceutical sales management (first-line leader with direct people accountability) is preferred.
• A proven, consistent, and documented track record of top ranked pharmaceutical performance (ideally top 25% of the nation) is required.
• 3 or more years of Urology experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead a field-based sales team of 8-10 Territory Sales Managers in a defined Region.
• Ensure sales budgets and objectives are achieved/exceeded across territories and the Region.
• Provide regular, coaching of each Sales Professional focused on sales effectiveness and development.
• Develop and execute Regional sales strategies and align budgets and resources to opportunities.
• Build relationships with providers and KOLs and ensure cross-functional collaboration.
