Job summary

Mackinnon Bruce International is seeking a Regional Sales Manager for packaging machinery and automation, remote/home-based in Texas or Oklahoma. The role covers the South Central territory with a preference for Dallas–Fort Worth, and involves expanding an established multimillion-dollar sales region serving food, snack, and beverage manufacturers.

Key duties include managing Texas and Oklahoma sales activities, expanding customer relationships, and closing new capital equipment opportunities.

Qualifications

• Proven experience selling capital equipment into food manufacturing or related industries.
• Experience in packaging machinery, industrial automation, robotics, product handling or integrated systems.
• Strong business development skills and experience opening new accounts.
• Ability to manage existing customers whilst proactively developing new opportunities.
• Experience navigating complex technical sales cycles.
• Existing relationships within the regional food manufacturing industry would be advantageous.
• Willingness to travel regularly throughout Texas and Oklahoma.

Responsibilities

• Manage and develop sales activities throughout Texas and Oklahoma.
• Maintain and expand relationships with existing customers.
• Identify and secure new capital equipment opportunities across the food manufacturing industry.
• Drive new business development and increase regional market penetration.
• Sell automated packaging machinery, product handling equipment and integrated automation systems.
• Work closely with engineering and applications teams to develop technical solutions.
• Manage the full sales cycle, from opportunity identification through to contract negotiation and closure.
