Job summary

ProMach is seeking a Regional Sales Manager to expand relationships across Washington, Oregon, Idaho, and beyond, with periodic travel to Montana, Wyoming, and Saskatchewan. You will drive growth by selling capital equipment and packaging solutions, engaging with engineers, operations, and procurement, and leveraging CRM tools to close opportunities.

The ideal candidate has strong closing skills, 2+ years in packaging sales, and a four-year degree.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of proven experience in capital equipment and/or packaging sales.
• Direct sales experience with leading domestic CPG companies.
• Four-year degree in Sales, Engineering or Business preferred.
• Mechanical aptitude to understand packaging automation and products.
• Strong technical sales and polished presentation skills.
• Proven closing skills and prospecting ability.
• Excellent business, interpersonal and facilitation skills.
• Proficient with Excel, Word and PowerPoint; CRM experience expected.
• Knowledge of AutoCAD and industrial line layout preferred.
• Ability to work remotely with 60–70% travel within the territory.

Responsibilities

• Establish and maintain relationships with new and existing accounts at all levels.
• Develop sales strategies and value-based solutions with end users.
• Utilize sales tools for presentations, calls, and prospecting.
• Create territory schedules for client visits and prospecting.
• Coordinate with engineering for project solutions and quotes.
• Ensure accurate collection of project details for evaluations.
• Collaborate with project management for smooth order transitions.
• Maintain high ethics and integrity in all dealings.
• Meet or exceed sales forecasts and quotas.
• Document opportunities, companies, contacts, and activities in CRM.
