Job summary

Mackinnon Bruce International is seeking a Regional Sales Manager for the Great Lakes region. This remote, home-based role covers Michigan, Indiana, Ohio, Kentucky and Ontario, Canada, with travel to customer sites as required.

You will own the regional sales cycle from lead to contract, nurture relationships with food and beverage manufacturers, and collaborate with engineering teams to deliver tailored automation solutions. Competitive base plus commission with full benefits.

Qualifications

• Proven experience selling capital equipment to food manufacturing or related industries.
• Ideally experience in packaging machinery, industrial automation, robotics, product handling or integrated systems.
• Strong account management and new business development capabilities.
• Experience managing complex technical sales cycles.
• Demonstrable success managing and growing regional sales territories.
• Willingness to travel regularly throughout the assigned territory.

Responsibilities

• Manage and develop an established regional sales territory.
• Maintain and expand relationships with existing food and beverage manufacturing customers.
• Identify and secure new capital equipment opportunities.
• Sell automated packaging machinery, product handling equipment and integrated automation solutions.
• Build relationships with engineering, operations and senior management decision-makers.
• Collaborate with internal engineering and applications teams to develop customer-specific solutions.
• Manage the complete sales cycle, from initial engagement through to contract closure.
