Job summary

Mackinnon Bruce International seeks a Regional Sales Manager on behalf of an established packaging machinery manufacturer to own the Upper Midwest territory from a remote/home-based location. The role covers Illinois, Wisconsin, Minnesota and North Dakota with regular customer travel.

You will grow regional revenue by developing existing accounts, identifying new business, and selling automated packaging machinery and integrated automation solutions.

Qualifications

• Experience selling capital equipment into manufacturing sectors.
• Knowledge of packaging machinery and automation is a plus.
• Strong ability to develop new business and manage a territory.
• Proactive, commercially focused mindset for opportunity development.
• Ability to engage with engineering, operations and senior decision-makers.

Responsibilities

• Take ownership of the regional sales territory (Upper Midwest).
• Develop and deepen customer relationships; identify expansion opportunities.
• Proactively secure new business in food manufacturing and related industries.
• Sell automated packaging machinery, product handling equipment, and automation solutions.
• Increase market penetration through strategic territory development.
• Collaborate with engineering and applications teams on projects.
• Manage the complete sales cycle from prospecting to contract closure.
