Job summary

Armacell seeks a Regional Technical Manager - Refrigeration to drive upstream sales strategy across the United States, leveraging insulation expertise to expand product specification in commercial refrigeration. The role targets engineers, specifiers, owners, and mechanical contractors; travel up to 65%; remote-based with emphasis on key markets including South Florida/Miami.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in technical field required.
• 3-5 years of territory experience in HVAC/plumbing/construction equipment with refrigeration familiarity preferred.
• Expert knowledge on bid/specification process for commercial HVAC/refrigeration markets.
• Ability to read mechanical drawings to identify application/equipment for products.
• Travel up to 65%.
• Excellent written, oral and presentation skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and Salesforce.com (CRM).

Responsibilities

• Expand knowledge, implement solutions, and grow market share within the commercial refrigeration market.
• Provide technical expertise for product, application, code, and related topics to insulation users in the region.
• Educate customers on Armacell offerings, features, and benefits through demonstrations and presentations.
• Translate market and customer needs into technical requirements for Marketing.
• Contribute competitive market intelligence on materials and competitors’ activities.
• Lead technical applications training programs and certify contractors and supervisors on job sites.
• Attend project site visits to assist clients with project delivery and demonstrations.
