Job summary

Armacell is seeking a Regional Technical Manager - Refrigeration to lead upstream sales strategy across assigned territories, leveraging insulation expertise to grow product specification and market share in commercial refrigeration.

You will build relationships with mechanical engineers, specifiers and owners, travel up to 65%, and act as insulation technical expert, guiding code compliance and system performance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a technical field is required.
• 3–5 years of territory experience in HVAC/plumbing/equipment industries with refrigeration familiarity preferred.
• Expert knowledge of bid/specification processes for commercial, HVAC, plumbing, refrigeration, and industrial markets.
• Ability to read mechanical drawings to identify application and equipment.
• Willingness to travel up to 65%.

Responsibilities

• Expand product knowledge, solution implementation, and market share within the commercial refrigeration market.
• Provide technical expertise on product, application, Code, and other topics from insulation users in the region.
• Educate customers on Armacell offerings, highlights and benefits through demonstrations and presentations.
• Translate market and customer needs into technical requirements for use by the Marketing department.
• Contribute to competitive market intelligence regarding performance of alternate materials and competitors.
• Lead technical applications training programs including reviews and revisions to certify contractors and supervisors.
• Attend project site visits to assist clients with project delivery and training.
