Job summary

Armacell seeks a Regional Technical Manager - Refrigeration to lead upstream sales strategy across the U.S., driving insulation product specification and market penetration in commercial refrigeration. You will build a base of mechanical engineers, specifiers, owners, and key stakeholders, and educate customers on Armacell offerings.

You will translate market needs into technical requirements for the Marketing team, attend project sites, and contribute to competitive intelligence while traveling

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in a technical field is required.
• 3–5 years of territory experience in HVAC/plumbing/construction/equipment industries preferred.
• Strong knowledge of bid/specification processes for commercial HVAC and related markets.
• Ability to read mechanical drawings to identify applications and equipment.
• Willingness to travel up to 65%.
• Excellent written, oral and presentation skills.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office and Salesforce.com or similar CRM.

Responsibilities

• Expand product knowledge, solution implementation, and market share within the commercial refrigeration market.
• Provide technical expertise on product, application, Code, and other topics for insulation users in the region.
• Educate customers on Armacell offerings through demonstrations and presentations.
• Translate market and customer needs into technical requirements for the Marketing team.
• Contribute market intelligence on competitive materials and activities.
• Lead technical applications training programs and oversee site contractor certification.
• Attend project site visits to assist clients with delivery and demonstrations.
