Job summary

SOLV Energy, Inc. is seeking a Regional Quality Manager to oversee QA/QC across PV EPC projects in the Southwest region. This remote role requires regular travel to project sites and to meet clients, suppliers, and regulators.

You will develop and implement quality plans, monitor compliance with industry standards and SOLV SOPs, conduct audits, train field teams, perform root cause analyses, and drive continuous improvement while ensuring safety and effective collaboration with project teams.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in quality management in solar or renewable energy.
• Quality management certifications such as ASQ Certified Auditor, ISO 9001, Six Sigma, or PMP are highly desirable.
• Strong knowledge of electrical construction and electrical safety.
• Experience with construction drawings and installation procedures.
• Proficient in quality management software and tools.
• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, OSHA 10, 30, Journeyman, etc.
• Strong knowledge of quality assurance and control methodologies.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement quality plans that align with SOLV Energy’s Quality Management System, SOLV SOPs and contract requirements for each project.
• Establish, maintain, and improve quality systems to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
• Monitor project quality through inspections and audits to ensure adherence to standards.
• Manage quality control processes: testing, inspection, and evaluation of materials, components, systems and processes.
• Train and support project teams on QA/QC practices and SOPs.
• Collaborate with project managers, engineers, suppliers, and clients to address quality issues.
• Document and report findings and prepare management and client reports.
• Utilize Sunscreen software to train project teams and document quality matters.
• Conduct frequent audits on documentation, installation procedures, and vendor performance.
• Perform Root Cause Analysis using 5-Why or 8D methods.
• Identify opportunities for process improvements and corrective actions.
• Stay up-to-date with industry standards and regulations.
