Job summary

SOLV Energy seeks a Regional Quality Manager to oversee QA/QC for PV EPC projects across the Southwest region. The role is remote with regular travel to project sites, clients, and regulators. You will develop quality plans, lead audits, train field teams, and ensure compliance with SOLV SOPs and industry standards.

The candidate will manage testing, documentation, CAPAs, and continuous improvement across projects, collaborating with PMs, suppliers, and clients to achieve top-quality outcomes.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of quality management experience in solar/renewables.
• Certifications such as ASQ Certified Auditor, ISO 9001, Six Sigma, or PMP are highly desirable.
• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, OSHA 10/30, Journeyman etc. desirable.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement quality plans aligned with SOLV Energy’s QMS and contract requirements.
• Establish and improve quality systems to meet industry standards and regulatory requirements.
• Monitor project quality with inspections and audits; ensure AHJ and manufacturer instructions compliance.
• Manage QC processes: testing, inspection, and evaluation of materials and workmanship.
• Train and support project teams on QA/QC practices and SOLV SOPs/RWI/MOPs.
• Collaborate with PMs, engineers, suppliers, and clients to resolve quality issues.
• Document findings and report to management and clients.
• Proficiently use SOLV’s Sunscreen software for documentation and QA management.
• Conduct frequent audits of documentation, processes, and vendor performance.
• Perform root cause analysis (5-Why/8D) and implement CAPAs.
• Identify opportunities for process improvement and drive corrective actions.
• Ensure ongoing compliance with standards and regulations.
