Job summary

SOLV Energy in the United States is seeking a Regional Quality Manager to oversee QA/QC for PV EPC projects in the Southwest region. This remote role requires regular travel to project sites to train field teams, conduct audits, and perform First Article Inspections, with occasional client and regulator meetings.

You will develop and implement quality plans, monitor compliance with SOLV’s standards and AHJ requirements, lead CAPAs, and drive continuous improvement across projects while

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of quality management experience in solar/renewable energy.
• ASQ Certified Auditor, ISO 9001, Six Sigma, or PMP desirable.
• Bachelor’s degree in engineering; OSHA 10/30; Journeyman desirable.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement quality plans aligned with SOLV Energy’s QMS and contracts.
• Establish and improve quality systems to meet industry standards and regulatory requirements.
• Monitor project quality through regular inspections and audits; identify improvements.
• Oversee testing, inspection, and evaluation of materials and processes used in PV projects.
• Train project teams on SOLV Energy quality practices and reference guides.
• Collaborate with project managers, engineers, suppliers, and clients on quality issues.
• Document findings and prepare management/client reports on quality activities.
• Become proficient in the Sunscreen software for training and documentation.
• Conduct formal audits on documentation, processes, and vendor performance.
• Perform Root Cause Analysis (5-Why or 8D) and implement CAPAs.
• Drive continuous improvement and ensure compliance with guidelines.
