Job summary

SOLV Energy, Inc. is seeking a Regional Quality Manager to oversee QA/QC for PV EPC projects in the assigned region. This remote role requires travel to project sites in the Southwest to train field teams, conduct audits and performance inspections, and meet with clients and regulators.

Responsibilities include developing quality plans, improving systems, performing root-cause analysis, CAPAs, and ensuring compliance with standards and SOLV SOPs. Strong communication and leadership are essential.

Qualifications

• Experience in quality management within solar or renewable energy industries is required or highly desirable.
• Certifications such as ASQ Auditor, ISO 9001, Six Sigma, or PMP are advantageous.
• Bachelor-level or higher engineering/OSHA/Journeyman-type credentials are favorable.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement quality plans aligned with SOLV Energy’s QMS, SOPs and contract requirements.
• Maintain and improve quality systems for compliance with standards and customer expectations.
• Conduct regular inspections and audits to ensure quality and regulatory conformance.
• Oversee testing, inspection and evaluation of materials, components and processes in PV projects.
• Provide training on quality assurance practices and company procedures to project teams.
• Collaborate with project managers, engineers, suppliers and clients to resolve quality issues.
• Document inspections, audits and corrective actions; report to management and clients.
• Utilize Sunscreen software to train teams and document quality matters.
• Perform root-cause analysis and implement CAPAs; drive continuous improvement.
• Ensure ongoing compliance with industry standards and regulations.
