Job summary

SOLV Energy, Inc. is seeking a Regional Quality Manager to oversee QA/QC for PV EPC projects across the Southwest region. This remote role requires regular travel to project sites to train field teams, perform audits, and verify First Article Inspections.

You will implement quality plans, manage QC processes, and collaborate with project managers, engineers, and clients to ensure compliance with SOLV’s standards and industry regulations.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in quality management in solar/renewable energy.
• Certifications such as ASQ Certified Auditor, ISO 9001, Six Sigma, or PMP are highly desirable.
• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related field and OSHA 10/30 or Journeyman status are desirable.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement quality plans aligned with SOLV Energy’s Quality Management System and project requirements.
• Establish and continuously improve quality systems for compliance with industry standards and customer expectations.
• Monitor project quality through inspections and audits; ensure adherence to AHJ requirements and installation instructions.
• Oversee testing, inspection, and evaluation of materials and processes used in PV projects within the region.
• Provide direct training and guidance on QA practices and SOLV SOPs to project teams.
• Collaborate with project managers, engineers, suppliers, and clients to resolve quality issues.
• Document and report findings; maintain records and prepare regular management/client reports.
• Train project teams in using SOLV’s Sunscreen software for documentation and quality matters.
• Conduct frequent audits on documentation, reporting methods, and installation procedures.
• Perform Root Cause Analysis (5-Why or 8D) and implement CAPAs based on RCA results.
• Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement corrective actions to enhance quality and efficiency.
• Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements.
