Job summary

SOLV Energy, Inc. is seeking a Regional Quality Manager to oversee QA/QC across PV EPC projects in the Southwest region. The role is remote with regular travel to project sites, client meetings, and trainings for field teams.

You will develop quality plans, ensure compliance with SOLV SOPs, industry standards, and customer requirements, and drive continuous improvement. Responsibilities include audits, root cause analysis using 5-Why or 8D, CAPA implementation, and reporting to management.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of quality management in solar/renewables.
• ASQ Auditor, ISO 9001, Six Sigma, or PMP desirable.
• Bachelor’s in engineering; OSHA 10/30; Journeyman desirable.
• Strong QA/QC knowledge, electrical construction and safety.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement quality plans for each project.
• Establish, maintain and improve quality systems for compliance.
• Monitor project quality via inspections and audits; AHJ and installation standards.
• Oversee testing and inspection of materials, components and processes.
• Train project teams on QA/QC practices and SOPs.
• Collaborate with PMs, engineers, suppliers and clients.
• Document findings and report to management; maintain audits and CAPAs.
• Use SOLV Sunscreen to document quality matters on projects.
• Conduct formal audits on documentation, procedures and vendor performance.
• Perform root-cause analysis (5-Why/8D) and corrective actions.
• Identify opportunities for continuous improvement and regulatory compliance.
