Job summary

SOLV Energy, Inc. seeks a Regional Quality Manager to oversee QA/QC for PV EPC projects in the Southwest region. This remote role requires regular travel to project sites to train field teams, conduct audits, and ensure compliance with SOLV Energy standards and industry regulations.

You will develop quality plans, monitor project quality, and report findings to management. Proficiency with Sunscreen software and QA tools is essential.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years of quality management experience in solar/renewable energy.
• Quality certifications such as ASQ Auditor, ISO 9001, Six Sigma, or PMP are desirable.
• Bachelor’s degree in engineering; OSHA 10/30; Journeyman is a plus.
• Strong knowledge of electrical construction and electrical safety.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement quality plans aligned with SOLV Energy’s QMS and contract requirements.
• Establish and improve quality systems to meet industry standards and AHJ requirements.
• Monitor project quality through inspections, audits, and documentation control.
• Train field teams on QA practices, SOPs, SWIs, and reference guides.
• Collaborate with project managers, engineers, suppliers, and clients to resolve quality issues.
• Document findings and generate regular management and client reports.
• Utilize Sunscreen software to train teams and document quality matters.
• Conduct frequent audits of documentation, installation processes, and vendor performance.
• Perform Root Cause Analysis using 5-Why or 8D methods as needed.
• Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement corrective actions.
