Job summary

SOLV Energy, Inc. is seeking a Regional Quality Manager to oversee QA/QC for PV EPC projects across the Southwest region. The role is remote with regular travel to project sites and client meetings to train field teams and conduct audits.

You will implement quality plans aligned with SOLV’s QMS, supervise inspections, drive corrective actions, and coach project teams on SOPs and reference guides. Strong leadership, problem solving, and knowledge of electrical construction are essential.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years of quality management experience in solar/renewable energy.
• Quality certifications such as ASQ Auditor, ISO 9001, Six Sigma, or PMP are highly desirable.
• Bachelor’s degree in engineering and OSHA 10/30 are highly desirable.
• Strong knowledge of QA/QC methodologies and electrical construction.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills; effective communication.
• Proficient in quality management software and tools; team-oriented.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement quality plans aligned with SOLV Energy’s QMS, SOPs and contract requirements.
• Establish and improve quality systems to ensure compliance with standards and regulations.
• Monitor project quality: inspections and audits; identify improvements.
• Oversee testing, inspection, and evaluation of materials and processes.
• Train project teams on QA/QC practices and SOLV SOPs, SWIs and MOPs.
• Collaborate with project managers, engineers, suppliers, and clients on quality issues.
• Document findings and report to management and clients.
• Use Sunscreen to train teams and document quality matters.
• Conduct frequent audits on documentation, processes and vendor performance.
• Perform Root Cause Analysis (5-Why/8D) and implement CAPAs.
• Identify opportunities for process improvements and drive corrective actions.
• Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulatory guidelines.
