Job summary

SOLV Energy is seeking a Regional Quality Manager to oversee QA/QC for PV EPC projects across the Southwest region. This remote role requires regular travel to project sites, clients, and regulators to train field teams, conduct audits, and ensure compliance with SOLV Energy standards.

You will develop quality plans, manage testing and inspections, mentor teams, and drive continuous improvement while partnering with project managers, engineers, suppliers and customers.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of quality management experience in solar/renewable energy.
• Bachelor’s degree in engineering; OSHA 10/30 or journeyman desirable.
• Certifications: ASQ Auditor, ISO 9001, Six Sigma, or PMP desirable.
• Strong QA/QC knowledge, electrical construction safety, and installation procedures.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement quality plans aligned with SOLV Energy’s QMS, SOPs and contract requirements for each project.
• Establish, maintain, and improve quality systems to ensure compliance with standards and customer expectations.
• Monitor project quality via inspections and audits; identify areas for improvement.
• Oversee testing, inspection, and evaluation of materials, components, systems and processes.
• Train and support project teams on QA/QC practices and SOLV SOPs/SWI/MOPs.
• Collaborate with project managers, engineers, suppliers, and clients to address quality issues.
• Document and report findings; maintain records and regular reports for management and clients.
• Become proficient in SOLV’s Sunscreen software for documentation and QA reporting.
• Conduct audits on documentation, procedures, material handling, and vendor performance.
• Perform Root Cause Analysis (5-Why or 8D) and implement CAPAs.
• Drive continuous improvement and ensure regulatory compliance.
