Job summary

SOLV Energy is seeking a Regional Quality Manager to oversee QA/QC for PV EPC projects in the Southwest region. The role is remote with regular site visits and travel to client sites to ensure compliance with SOLV Energy standards and industry codes.

You will develop quality plans, lead audits, train field teams, and drive continuous improvement across projects. Strong experience in solar QA, ISO 9001, and problem-solving is essential.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in quality management in solar/renewables.
• ASQ Auditor, ISO 9001, Six Sigma, or PMP desirable.
• Bachelor’s degree in engineering; OSHA 10/30; Journeyman desirable.
• Strong knowledge of QA/QC methodologies.
• Electrical construction knowledge and safety.
• Experience with construction drawings and installation procedures.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficient with QA software and tools.
• Ability to work as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement quality plans aligned with QMS and contract requirements.
• Establish, maintain and improve quality systems to ensure compliance with standards.
• Monitor project quality via inspections and audits.
• Oversee testing, inspection of materials and processes.
• Train project teams on QA practices and SOLV SOPs and guides.
• Collaborate with PMs, engineers, suppliers, and clients.
• Document inspections and corrective actions; report to management.
• Use Sunscreen software to train teams and document QA matters.
• Conduct audits on documentation, processes, and vendor performance.
• Perform root cause analyses and implement CAPAs.
• Drive continuous improvement and ensure regulatory compliance.
